Terms and Conditions - Story Competition

WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION 2000 WORD STORY WRITING COMPETITION

This competition will take place from Monday 29 January to Friday 3 May 2024.

 

- Witness for the Prosecution’s decision as to the eligibility of individual entrants will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. Proof of age and identity may be requested.

- Entrants must attend a UK secondary school in the academic year 2023/24

- Entrants must make a Parent, Guardian or Teacher aware of their application.

- Entrants must submit a story no longer than 2000 words.

- Entrants may be inspired by the story of Witness for the Prosecution but cannot use Agatha Christie’s stories, characters (or other IP) in their competition submission.

- Reasonable travel expenses will be covered by Witness for the Prosecution

- Overnight accommodation will not be covered by Witness for the Prosecution and will need to be covered by the winning School.

- Up to 35 tickets to Witness for the Prosecution will be available for the winning student and their class.

- Witness for the Prosecution will endeavour to accommodate the winner’s preferred performance date / time, however this cannot be guaranteed, is subject to availability and does not include Peak times such as Christmas Holidays or School holiday periods.

- Witness for the Prosecution reserves the right to remove any entry which breaches any of these terms and conditions.

- Witness for the Prosecution reserves the right to cancel or alter the scheme at any stage. In this event, a notice will be posted on this website.

- Witness for the Prosecution reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any stage, including changing or substituting the selection process and the development opportunities. In this event, a notice will be posted on this website.

- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
